About Konami World Championship DS WiFi Entertainment

History

Well, to tell you the utmost truth, this site was made only recently.  Furthermore, there'll be facts, reasons, and funny stories that you'll find.

My whole life, I wanted to be a guy who is based on stuff. My childhood didn't go well. I love stuff that is based on Ancient Hieroglyphic Egyptian writing.  I'm also quick tempered, and have a captive mind. But most likely, I'm the luckiest guy you'll ever meet.

I came to the US at the age of 12 as an immigrant. I was sent to a Junior High School with only the languages of Creole and French. I had Haitian buddies that would translate English to Creole for me. I protected a kid (nicknamed Gullit) from the big kids, so we became friends.

Gullit introduced me to Yu-Gi-Oh! He gave me a fake Japanese starter deck when I was 13. I was as clueless as any beginners would be. I started taking interest in the game. I traded some cards that he gave me, and later I liked it much more than I imagined. My first mission was to gather all the Egyptian Gods. I managed to do so but sadly, they were fake. But the good news was that they were hollow. Others would taunt me to give them to them and I never did. I held onto them forever.

When I learn that some KONAMI Yu-Gi-Oh! cards were fake, I tried to collect only real Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. I was still a weak duelist, but I still used strategy. I was rarely beaten by others in duel. Some of them cheated, and others actually bested me.

I collect Japanese cards. Lord Of D, Flute of Summoning Dragon and summoning Blue Eyes White Dragon were the cards I used back in the day. I had good cards that would back me up. I started to be the Yu-Gi-Oh! guy, and I would dream of having everything that is related to YGO. Then I started getting insane of the show.

Later on, I was sent away and was no longer in the same Junior High School that Gullit was in. Even worse, I had to be on my own to understand others speaking really fast to me. I was cheated, and robbed of my Egyptian Gods. I felt like quiting then, but I never once gave up hope. I never gave up.

I started doing stuff that I used to do back in my country and I earned people's love and respect. I was the art guy. Before I was sent back home, and going back to my old school, I was able to learn and speak English. I then, had real English Cards. Gullit and I used to team up, and I used to give him my cards whenever I got something stronger. Sometimes he would give me his, so we were like the Para Dox brothers.

My one dream was to have the Konami World Championship game. The first video game release was in the year of 2004. I almost give someone all of my cards just for the game. Then I got the game, and lost my deck. It didn't bother me because my enthusiasm for the game was greater. When we graduated from Junior High, Gullit gave me his real deck that I helped him build throughout our friendship.

I started the video game, and I gotten stronger. In High School, I had many rivals there.  I still rose to the top. A duelist named Willy was the only one that I couldn't beat. I promise 20 duelist that I will defeated him the next week with the same type of deck as his, and even better. I did, and I earned his respect. More over, since I was unbeatable, I used to duel for Decks for Decks, and putting my own deck at risk. I once gathered 20 hollow Blue-Eyes White Dragons in a day. The combo of Lord of D. was barely used. I had about 5 of them, and I had 3 of each popular/OU common ever made. Such as Dark Hole, etc. I had all the powerful hollows such as Raigeki etc. My family then was in the hunt, but all to get me stronger. The only card that I was missing were the envoys; which later obtained in the year of 2007.

The idea of creating this site is that, I want to help out other Yu-Gi-Oh! friends out there, and gather all the best of the best to compete against eachother and have fun and a thrill of their lives. Even now others are cheering for me and thanking me. "Thanks for creating this site!" The old forum was moved so now we have a new host.

Each year, I would get the next game of the World Championship. In the year 2006, I OD on the World Championship 2006 Ultimate Master by beating 100 duelist in the survival mode in 3 days. I also beat the game of 7 Trials to Glory World Championship 2005 in 3 days by getting all the cards 3x each. On the World Championship 2007 game, I beat that in a month by getting all cards and unlock every single features (also I used this time to update the S Rank Walkthrough of WC 2007). Lastly when the game of YGO WC 2008 came out, I beat that in six days by getting all cards, and all features. When I finally bought an action replay, I started over once more just for the fun of it. I went over it once more, playing it on an emulator form to post the walkthrough on live vids on youtube. So yeah!

In my third year of High School, I quit the real life TCG game since the cards were getting more popular, and they were a delusion to my future career as an Author.

This site didn't actually come to my mind, but a walkthrough that I posted on Gamefaqs was rejected three times. I didn't want it to get deleted or ignored, so I started this site.  I posted my walkthrough here on October 17 2007. Thus, we can now say thanks to Konami World Championship.

In April 6 2008 I finished making the site, but it wasn't complete. I just added and updated  new pages.

In April 27 2008, I finally make it for others to use and get along. And now you can have your profile and save it through Konami World Championship.

In May 27 2008, with the help of a trusted friend from youtube named comedicine, and my brother dayvividnerdvillge also from youtube, they helped moderate the past forum.

In Sep 28, 2008 we moved to a new forum because it was more liable and secure on power and maintainability. konamiwc.ogameplayer.com

In Sep 7th, 2009 we finally own our official forum domain:  www.konamiwc-forums.com  Later on the same year of Sep 10th our site have finally registered an official domain name: www.konamiworldchampionship.com.

In August 4th, 2010, the webmaster owning the K.W.C. project decided to ditch the forumotion forum, thus now using the main site's forum.

I've had strange messages sent to my youtube channel, and recently a random guy warned me that I will be sued by KONAMI.

Notice, that my name isn't KONAMI. This site is made for the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship game releases from KONAMI. Since there aren't many sites on the internet where you'll find everything Yu-Gi-Oh! related all at once (Yu-Gi-Oh! Walkthrough, FCs, Tournaments, etc). The owner of this site is not a machine as some might think.  I worked very hard past numerous hours and countless days to build this site.

In general, this site is made possible by one man's dream and desire. You can now visit us, for Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Spoilers, Walkthroughs, Wi-Fi Downloads, and more relevant Yu-Gi-Oh! relatives.

The general forum is made actively by other cooperative members, and now, you too can become one of our community.
